The Faith Trilogy is a compilation of the first three EPs I recorded under the Spider God name. They are connected thematically, each being based on a different film from Bergman’s Faith Trilogy, and all three were recorded pretty much back-to-back from October to December 2020. Along with brand new artwork by Dylan Anderson, the release also comes with 5 exclusive bonus tracks, which are as follows:

- Witness to Disintegration (New Version) - a 2023 re-recording of the first song I ever recorded as Spider God.

- Shipwreck’s Hull (Early Demo) - An early iteration of this song from The Interior Castle, with a completely different first half.

- Darkening the Sky (Demo) - Another demo from the Shadowless Light sessions, with different lyrics

- The Silence (Unreleased Demo) - A never-before-heard offcut from the ‘A Foreign Tongue’ sessions

- Horrible Forces (Live Rehearsal ’22) - A live rendition that was originally streamed in July ’22 on Instagram ahead of our appearance at Darkness over Cumbria

Avec Панихида, Батюшка renaît enfin de ses cendres et, bien que désormais seul (ou plus exactement entouré de deux chanteurs), Христофор accomplit un miracle. Pour Forest of Grief, son premier album, Old Nick décide de passer aux choses sérieuses : une pochette lugubre en nuances de gris chargée de symboles satanistes dessinée par un vrai graphiste, des thèmes mélancoliques et mortuaires à la pelle, et enfin un raw black metal médiéval. Mais pas de demi mesure chez Old Nick : les synthés ont le droit à leur quart d'heure de gloire. If there ever was a timely album to sum up the United States in 2020, this is it. Elements of black metal, hymnals, call-and-response, sampled news audio, and Manuel's amazing voice come together to form a beautifully tortured sound.
